Intake & Assessment
The watch is logged, examined, and its condition noted in writing. No work begins here.
Written Estimate
Findings are explained. Scope and price are agreed before the assigned technician proceeds.
Service & Review
The work is completed and reviewed by a second technician before the owner is contacted.
Collection & Record
The owner collects the watch with a written service record covering all work and test results.
Service 01
Crown & Stem Repair
Repair or replacement of winding crowns and stems so setting and winding feel smooth and steady again. The crown and stem are the primary mechanical interface between the owner and the movement — looseness, resistance, or thread damage affects both usability and water-resistance performance where applicable.
We examine the crown, tube threads, and stem condition before quoting. Where original-spec parts are available, we use them. In other cases we explain the available option in writing before proceeding.

When to consider this service

A note on case polishing
Case polishing is one of the more debated services in watch care. Aggressive or misdirected polishing can erase brushed surfaces and round case edges permanently. We encourage owners who are uncertain to discuss the approach before committing. Preservation of character is always an option — we document what we find and what we plan to do.
Service 02
Case Polishing & Refinishing
Brushed and polished finishing to refresh a tired case while respecting original lines and material thickness. We handle stainless steel, gold-tone, and PVD-coated cases using hand-guided equipment that follows the existing surface zones of the case.
Before work begins, the technician documents the current finish condition and zone map. The plan is shared with the owner. This record is included in the service document at collection.

Service 03
Water-Resistance Testing
Pressure testing with reseal of gaskets, recommended before the swimming season or after a battery change. Water-resistance ratings on watches are based on fresh gaskets and intact seals — both degrade over time and after any caseback or crown opening.
We use calibrated dry and wet pressure testing equipment. Results are documented on the service record and reflect actual measured pressures against the manufacturer's published rating for the model.
